Medical plan

We will prepare your individual treatment plan.

The following should be clarified before initiation of the treatment:

  • You do not have to be a married couple, but for the purpose of the treatment you should take your partner whom you live intimately with and the precondition is that any previous matrimony was legally terminated - divorced.
  • Both partners must be HIV negative. We further carry out tests for hepatitis A, B, and C, and syphilis immediately before taking the ova and sperm.
  • Infertility treatment applying simpler methods at your gynaecologist was not successful.
  • In accordance with Czech legislation it is possible to use own germ cells, but also donated sperm, ova, or embryos for the treatment itself provided it is well-founded by a medical opinion.

What is the course of the treatment?

We start the treatment only after completion of the diagnostic part. The cause of the infertility need not necessarily be ascertained (idiopathic, unexplained factor). Each treatment cycle must be properly planned. Particularly in vitro fertilization needs perfect timing not only according to your possibilities, but also based on preparedness of our team. Therefore, plan the treatment ahead of time: only this way you can avoid stress and frustration.

IVF treatment consists of various phases, which will be explained beforehand. Each treatment will be naturally discussed and approved individually. In spite of this, the procedure may be in individual cases slightly adjusted in comparison with the original plan depending on the situation, e.g. the method of fertilization, number of implemented embryos, and other aspects.
